The Pagan Spirit Foundation
Helping to promote inclusivity and breaking stigmas around being Pagan.
One of our primary missions when creating our business was to also focus on community. Community is a large aspect that allows individuals to gather, connect, and most importantly learn and grow. The Pagan Spirit Foundation was formed to create spaces for people of all spiritual journeys to meet, connect and provide a platform that is excepting, and inclusive to all beliefs. We wanted to create an organization that is for the people. Our mission to create awareness, break barriers, remove stigmas, and most importantly, make memories.
Proceeds raised by the Pagan Spirit Foundation go directly back to events, charities, and support for local Pagans all over Canada. We want to ensure that Pagan's have their voices heard and ensure they are represented in such a vastly changing world.

A question we often receive is; "what is Paganism?" Well this is an easy answer. Paganism (from classical Latin pāgānus "rural", "rustic", later "civilian") is a term first used in the fourth century by early Christians for people in the Roman Empire who practiced polytheism, or ethnic religions other than Judaism.
Later the word was described to mean a non-follower of most abrahamic religions such has Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc. Most Pagan's follow earth based spiritualities that focus on pre-fourth century beliefs. Many spiritual beliefs are far more inline the beliefs of the indigenous peoples in their respecting lands.
The Pagan Spirit Foundation is proud to be based out of the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut'ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
